Antony Perumbavoor on Mohanlal’s Jailer 2 screen time and Athimanoharam expectations

Producer Antony Perumbavoor has responded to the conversation around Mohanlal’s screen time in Jailer 2. The Nelson Dilipkumar film, headlined by Rajinikanth, features Mohanlal in an extended guest role, and a section of Malayali viewers felt the star deserved more footage.

Perumbavoor acknowledged the reaction, noting that audiences in Kerala were not entirely happy with how the part played out. He also addressed speculation about the stunt work, after a body double said only hands and legs were used and that his face was never shown.

Separately, the producer tempered expectations for Mohanlal’s Athimanoharam, saying viewers should not walk in expecting another Narasimham. The film, he indicated, is a different kind of project altogether.
