Fahadh Faasil’s Karate Chandran begins a 140-day shoot in Kottayam
Fahadh Faasil has started filming Karate Chandran, the directorial debut of Roy, under the Bhavana Studios banner.
Filming on Fahadh Faasil’s Karate Chandran has begun in Kottayam. The project marks the directorial debut of Roy, who has worked as a co-director on several of Dileesh Pothan’s films.
The film is being produced under the Bhavana Studios banner, the company backed by Fahadh, Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran. The team has planned an unusually long 140-day shooting schedule.
No release date has been announced. A production of this length suggests a deliberately unhurried approach, and it is expected to be one of the more closely watched Malayalam projects on the 2027 calendar.
